My to-go-to Retinol
I have tried almost every Retinol there is on the market over the the last decade, but this one is by far my favorite. I have been using 0.5 Retinol for many years now and can highly recommend it. I have also tried 1.0 but it was a little too intense for my skin. Love the brand.

I feel like this product may be a little too strong for my face, but I can totally see where it may help others who have acne and or severe hyperpigmentation. I am going to continue using it 1-2 week and see how it goes, or may downgrade to the less potent option.

I have really come to like this no fuss Retinol cream! Even the smallest amount spreads easily across the whole face. I sandwich it between a moisturizing serum under it and a fairly rich cream on top of it. There has been no irritation or flakiness for me whatsoever, even though I do use it every night. Will progress to the 1.0 strength next.

I recently made the switch from Sunday Riley retinol to SkinCeuticals. Although the strength (0.5) is the same, this seems to be stronger. After noticing some dryness after using it, I sandwiched with moisturizer until my skin adjusted. No worries, that just means the retinol is doing it's job!

SkinCeuticals retinol really delivers results. I started with 0.3. I have been using 0.5 for over a year and hope to increase to 1% soon. Applying a moisturizer or epidermal repair 30 minutes later really helps decrease irritation especially during the winter months.

This is a potent product but it works. I do recommend easing into it as they instruct on the directions because it can cause a little redness when you begin using it. My experience is that it clears fast and you begin to see some great results. I use a thin layer so a little goes a long way. I routinely use the SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Masque as a complement to this product.
