Silky texture, rich moisture
I first tried this product in sample size and just loved it! The silky smooth texture of the cream is not greasy or heavy - it spreads out quickly and evenly on skin. Normally such thick creams cause my face to break out, and therefore I was a bit hesitant to order the full-size product. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised at how my skin felt and looked, especially in the morning.

I use this moisturizer over CE Ferulic and HA Intensifier. My skin glows all day but not in a greasy way. I get compliments frequently. I highly recommend this trio of products, and of course whatever sunscreen you choose.

Have only been using this for a few weeks on and off and only at night, as the weather has been too warm here in the south for such a moisturizer! The consistency is thick but in a whipped way and it feels rich and smooth going on. Takes awhile to absorb. Face felt dewy soft in the morning! I suspect this will be a winner like so many of the SkinCeuticals products.

Not suitable for Rosacea prone / sensitive skin
Unfortunately, this product contains peppermint oil, which should be avoided if you have Rosacea or sensitive skin. It says the product is fragrance free but while it may not have any added fragrance, the peppermint oil in combination with lavender and rosemary oil gives it a pretty strong scent. My skin started burning immediately after application and became red and scaly. Because of the high price I tried to continue using it, hoping my skin would acclimate but unfortunately it did not. I would not recommend this to anyone with Rosacea or sensitive skin.

I have been using the Emollience through 2 jars and thought I would try the 2:4:2 Anti-Aging Cream. I'm still comparing the two. I like the dewy look of the Emollience which the 2:4:2 Anti-Aging Cream does not have. Will review again when I decide.

Doesn't Burn My Sensitive Skin
I've seen this cream in magazines for a couple of years and when I recently needed a good cream to help my sensitized skin I turned to this. Makes my skin feel soft as a baby
This is the only cream I have found that does not cause break outs on my skin, and leaves my face feeling as soft as a baby's skin. There has been a very noticeable improvement in fine lines and wrinkles. I use it in combination with the SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier and the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Antioxidant Serum. You only need to use a small amount to see results and I find that the jar lasts me almost 2 months.
