Great deep cleanse
I received a travel size gift with purchase of this from LovelySkin a few months ago, I liked it so much that I had to get the full size. It is a deep exfoliating cleanser that doesn’t over-strip the skin. The scrubbing particles are very gentle and rinse away easily. I would not call this a scrub by any means, it’s just a bit textured. The AHA/BHA formula us effective, leaving my skin smooth but not stripped. It’s an elegant formula. I have dry skin and use this a few times a week, although I’m sure I will use it more often in summer. No objectionable fragrance, large tube, easy to use. I love it!

A new favorite
After trying a sample of SkinMedica’s AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser for a couple of weeks I purchased the full sized. I always remove most of my make-up with a wipe and follow with cleansing my skin. The soft, but very effective grit in this cleanser does an excellent job of removing the residual make up and exfoliates my skin at the same time. I’m getting a palpable as well as chemical exfoliation and my face doesn’t feel dry or irritated after cleansing. This has been a terrific addition to my cleansing regimen.

Day after issues
I was excited to try this product, as I wanted a good exfoliator that wouldn’t tear up my skin. I like the feel of this. After washing it’s a menthol type feeling and very fresh. However, I do notice that I seem to have more skin blemishes/bumps after using this. I understand that exfoliating brings impurities out, but this seems a bit much. I did suffer from flaking skin, even when using twice a week. I like the way it feels, but it probably isn’t the best product for me. I have Middle-aged combo skin.

I was afraid this would dry my skin out, but am happy to report that this cleanser cleans my skin without drying it out. I’ve been using this every day and am very happy with the results.
