Amazing
My dermatologist suggested this in replacement of lytera. I miss the old formula but I’m hoping this works just as good. So far I am loving how it goes onto the skin and how nice my skin looks the following day.

Good product!
I rarely find something that seems to work for my hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and this product seems to work. Give it a few weeks to see a small difference and keep going. It goes on nice and creamy, but I do think it can pill depending on what products you use with it. I"m only using it at night since the pilling bothers me during the daytime. If used 2x daily I"m sure it will be more effective.

Skinmedica Even and Correct serum
I can def see a difference using the SkinMedica Even and Correct serum. I have been using it every morning on a dark spot and a scar that I have. I let it dry for a few minutes than use my CE Ferulic, than my HA Glycan serum. Let that dry than use my Color Science No Show Mineral sunscreen. That is my routine. Skin is clear, bright. Even and Correct is definitely lighting up the sun spot. Pleased with all of my skin care!!!!!

It definitely evens skin tone
Within about 2 weeks you’ll see a difference. It goes on smooth but I do wait a while a layer it with a moisturizer. Wear sunscreen when going outdoors while using

It Works!
I have been using this product every morning and evening for several years, and I just have to say it works. My skin is remarkably smooth and bright, which I noticed immediately. People are shocked to hear my age, I am often mistaken for someone ten years younger. All I can say is that it's worth the cost.

Problems with the pump
Having a lot of problems with the pump because there is more air coming out than the product each time I’m using it. Still too early to see any results but I’m sure it is a good cream.

Bring back Lytera 2.0
I used Lyra 2.0 for years and as someone who just turned 50 years old, was often mistaken for someone in their mid 30s. Before using it, I had horrible hyperpigmentation and when I began using Lytera 2.0, the results were unbelievable. I was very sad to hear it was discontinued and replaced with Even and Correct. However, I spent the money and went in with an open mind. This product is nowhere close to the efficacy of Lytera. The only thing I changed in my skincare routine was this product. Not only did I notice I began seeing dark spots that I had not seen in years, but also an uneven skin tone. It was such a difference that friends and family began to comment on it as well. (not in a mean way, but the fact that they noticed showed me it wasn’t just me seeing the lack of efficacy). It also pills if you put an oil based product over it. I would deal with that flaw if it was effective, but it just simply isn’t. What an incredible disappointment. If you read the reviews for Even and Correct, there’s several that are rated 4 or 5 stars, but in the comment section, it states that they have yet to see if it’s effective. So, draw your own conclusion from that. I really hope that the company reads these comments and decides to bring back Lytera which was a far superior product.

Hopeful!
For three months I used a vit c serum with 4% hydroquinone, which my dermatologist prescribed me (they sell it in their office). It did lighten the areas on each side of my neck. I do not have unevenness and brown spots/areas on my face, but unfortunately never really put sunscreen on my neck as regularly as my face over many years and now have this problem to manage. The 4% definitely works but you have to come off it for a while before you can go back on it. So I purchased this SkinMedica product, which is supposed to do the job of the 4% and am hopeful that it will at least keep it at bay, if not improve it more. I love the gel consistency and how it dries down fairly quickly without any heavy feeling and I do not notice any odd smell when I use it. So time will tell if it does what it is supposed to do. I feel like these products do take some time to work. Even my 4% took a while to show results.

Melasma Support - SkinMedica Even and Correct
I experienced severe melasma around 36. Now at 44, the melasma is gone and my skin looks better than it did 10 years ago. One component of my melasma journey was a brightening serum. Keep in mind, I don't think any product or serum will give you rapid immediate results. I used this product within an overall routine including in office treatments. I continue to use it because I feel like it supports reduction in pigmentation and discoloration and layers nicely under moisturizer or retinol treatments. Other things I did include: major reduction in sun exposure, hats, SPF every day, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial, retinol, got off hormonal bc, manage stress, minimize exposure to major heat Good luck in your skin care journey!

Even and Correct
I haven't been using it long enough to see any major difference. I gave it 5 stars as I think it will start working when I start using it more frequently. It does have a sloughing effect which I like. Just purchased the pads as well. I will write more hopefully soon.

Love this serum!
I love this serum. I am 51 and have had freckles all my life which turned into dark blotches in my later years…this definitely helps to the point where I only use a tinted spf for coverage during the day…and I have tried a lot of different products…I love that SkinMedica Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Treatment Serum doesn’t dry out my sensitive skin.

Great for Melasma
I have been using SkinMedica's Lytera for several years and I liked it because it kept my melasma at bay. However, I prefer their new Even & Correct serum because I have noticed that my brown spots have actually lightened a bit. They are not as dark as before. I will repurchase!

Lytera 2.0 was a better product
I used and loved the Lytera 2.0 for years. This new even and correct product is not the same at all. I used it constantly just like the Lytera. when I layer anything over it, it balls up, and I have to wipe everything off, because I can’t do my makeup over it. Even if I give it time to absorb into my skin. It’s also a weird brownish color, I thought maybe I got an old/expired product, but the other products in the even and correct line are the same. I will not purchase anything from the even and correct line again.
