Favorite cleanser
I have issues with rosacea and have a really hard time finding cleansers that work. This makes my skin feel very clean and smooth with no irritation. I absolutely love this cleanser. I have dry, acne-prone skin and use a lot of sunscreen during the day and Retin A at night. This cleanser removes even the most stubborn makeup and sunscreen, although if I have several layers of sunscreen I will use a washcloth and two applications of this product. It has a pleasant consistency and foams up nicely, and although it takes everything off, it doesn’t leave my skin overly dry. Sometimes products sting my skin, but this cleanser does not. I highly recommend it and hope SkinMedica keeps manufacturing this one for a long time! The only negative that I can think of is that I wish SkinMedica sold travel sizes. It’s a big bottle - great value for the price - but I dislike having to decant some into small travel bottles for short trips. But the packaging is good quality and when I’m being lazy I’ll just take the whole thing, and it’s never exploded when I’ve checked my luggage.

I have always used retail store face wash. I consistently use medical grade serums, moisturizers, etc. but have never splurged on a quality face wash before. I decided to give this skin medica facial cleanser a try, and after just the first use was blown away at how great my skin looked and felt! I will never go back to retail store brand facial cleansers. Please note that while the price seems high for a face wash, you really don’t use much but a small dime size amount, and know it will last quite awhile. If you have been considering it, do it!
