I have been a vitamin C serum devotee for over a decade now and have tried everything under the sun. Im 53 with well maintained but sensitive skin that is dryer in the winter months. Skinceuticals has always made superior products. This works very well for me in the dryer months of winter and layers nicely with my Eltamd mineral sunscreen. A little goes a long way, goes on smoothly and is non drying. It has done a great job so far at keeping minor melasma at bay, tightening pores, smoothing texture, firming and brightening. This SkinMedica serum is the skin product I value above all others. With sensitive skin it can be hard to find a serum that makes skin look better without being irritating and causing redness. For me this is it. Have used Vitamin C & E Complex for at least three years now. At first was just happy that it wasn’t irritating and had nice ingredients, but after a few months I saw real improvement as did my dermatologist…without prompting ! I do a crazy thing of using product on one side on my face, sometimes for months to see it there is any difference, because I hate to spend this kind of money on something that doesn’t work. This is the only product I’ve ever used that make such a distinct improvement in skin texture and tone. I Hope SkinMedica makes this great serum forever!
