Good brand and product but...
I feel like this is good, but I have honestly never been too impressed by any of the Vitamin C products. This is a trusted brand, but I do think the price tag is pretty high and I didn't see anything really noticeable. I only purchased once and it was due to a recommendation by the dermatologist.

Excellent product, pump on the bottle isn’t good.
The product is amazing and has transformed my skin. My face and neck are so smooth after applying. Fine lines are subtle. My only complaint and reason for a 4 star is the poorly designed pump on the bottle. It doesn’t work most of the time and I have to unscrew it to get the product out. This is my 3rd or 4th bottle of it and they have all had issues with the pump.

I like the texture of this product and how smoothly it covers my face and neck. It penetrates quickly. I have been using it now for 2 weeks and so far it has been great. Perhaps continuing to use it for a longer period of time will allow me to assess long-time improvements with my complexion. It’s a great price point, too!

Great for sensitive skin
It didn’t irritate my very sensitive skin. It’s free of linalool (fragrance), which I have a true allergy to but is found in most skin products. I switch off between this and 2 other treatments/serums. Seems to keep it more effective that way.

Mixed Feelings
This product has a light, silky smooth texture and it does seem to brighten my skin, but it pills TERRIBLY when applied with any other SkinMedica products, even if I wait 10-15min between products. And good luck applying prior to makeup or sunscreen, because then it pills even worse. Wish I could use this during the day but it is a logistical nightmare. I now use it at night with a light lactic acid exfoliating lotion. My skin tolerates that combo with no irritation and I just cross my fingers that the lactic pH does not make this less effective because it is not cheap.

Smooth application.. but too soon
The serum is smooth and applies easily. It seems to do well under make up. Its thicker so I need more than I anticipated to cover my face and neck. It is too soon too tell the results. I do not detect a smell as some vitamin C serum have, which I hate.

Nice matte moisturizing feeling
I felt like I went through the bottle a little too quickly for the price but I do like the way it made my skin feel and the texture of the product. A lot of vitamin C&E formulas are an oil consistency which can make my skin look glossy but this one doesn't.

After reading the praises of the Skinmedica brand, I decided to try this Vitamin C after running out of my old brand. I like the texture, as well as the ingredients, but it might be a bit harsh for my sensitive skin. It tingles upon application, and initally broke me out. I kept with it, using it twice a week. I also layered it with my lotion. So far, so good. Haven't noticed any results but still in the first few weeks of using it.

More beneficial than just moisturizer for day
I think this is a great option for beginners who want to level up from just wearing a basic moisturizer in the daytime. It's especially suited for those that don't have a separate vitamin c serum but want to start incorporating it slowly into their daytime skincare regimen. It has a serum consistency which works well with sunscreen, etc. applied on top. It's very light. My only con is the price for the amount of vitamin c included in this. If you want to start building tolerance to Vit. C slowly or if this is the level you want, I recommend this over just basic moisturizer for day.

I love the silky consistency which makes for easy application vs the liquid vitamin c serums I’ve used in the past. I haven’t noticed dramatic results, but I was using vitamin c before switching to this. I like it and it applies well with other products in this brand that I use.
