SkinMedica has always had quality products and ingredients and I appreciate the lack of heavy fragrance, as I can't imagine women wanting their face to smell like a gardenia or a peach. The reason for 3 stars is that the price keeps going up at a rate that is totally impractical when the ingredients are exactly the same. I realize many other companies are doing this as well, but it's not a reason to be unreasonable in pricing. I am quite sure most of us wait for sales (which are actually prices that we paid in the past for the same item). At some point people will realize that a 1 oz skin care product does not need to cost $100 or higher. This should not be a competition. With that said, I hope SkinMedica takes note as I am sure they would see a result in increased ordering, while still making a profit.

I have tried this with other SkinMedica products and cannot avoid pilling. Even with adequate absorption time between layers, it pills unless I pat it on as a last product (over moisturizer). I'm not sure if it is penetrating at all. Does not irritate my face.

I love SkinMedica products as I have used many of them! The last vitamin C serum I was using was the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic.
