Stopping Hair Loss
My Dermatologist recommended this supplement to me after I was complaining of more hair loss in my comb after a shower. The Dermatologist first started with a tiny biopsy of my scalp around my hairline. The results came back I had Chronic Areata Alopecia. Needless to say I was very concerned. She recommended I start these Viviscal Professional Supplements but made me promise to stay on 2 tablets per day for six months. I am now 3 months into this routine and I have to say I am seeing more growth of small hairs all around my face. The larger areas of bald spots, about the size of a dime originally, are also showing signs of hair growth. As well as these tablets, I am also using the shampoo and cream rinse made by Viviscal.

I have been using Viviscal Pro for 10 months based on dermatologist recommendation. My extreme hair shedding with no regrowth was diagnosed as telogen effluvium (TE) due to a medical trauma (anesthetic used) along with Covid era stress. She counseled me that the road back to healthy hair would not be immediate, but in time, growth would return. It did! It took about seven months for the shedding to stop, but no more shedding. New hair growth is healthy and I feel normal again. I will continue to use Viviscal Pro as I want my hair system to be in the best shape to welcome new growth! For me, other topicals and shampoos/conditioners were not effective. Viviscal Pro is worth the investment!

I had only ever used viviscal extra strength in the past… then I heard about pro and at first I was hesitant to buy it was strange how it was only sold on lovelyskin… and not other sites. After looking for into it it’s because it’s stronger and is only sold on lovelyskin or through prescription. Anyways, I’ve already noticed such great improvement even more than the original viviscal! I am almost 1 month in on this supplement and have no notable hair growth yet. I've been told to give it 3 months by my hairdresser who swears by the product, after a recommendation from her dermatologist for her genetic hair loss. The pills leave a fishy taste in your mouth if you don't wash them down with a full glass of water right away. Follow the directions to take them after a meal. They caused me stomach upset when I tried to take them first thing in the morning before I'd eaten.
