I had neograft surgery and my doctor recommended I take this. The implanted hair doesn't have the same texture and strength as hair that was naturally there before but I noticed after taking viviscal pro that it really does help with hair health. My doctor told me to ignore the "take 3-6 months and then take a break" so I've taken it consistently twice a day for a year and my implants look almost like natural hair. It isn't cheap so I'll probably keep this up for another 6 months then take a break but I'm happy with the results so far.

After about a week I noticed that my nails were stronger. After three months, I no longer had the dreaded wide part of hair. It does not grow hair but builds the fine follicles that you would definitely lose. Spend the extra money and buy the Professional product if you are losing your hair. I was freaking out when I finally noticed hair loss. The only warning is that you cannot be allergic to fish. Call the company before you buy to get specifics since I have heard conflicting reports of which kinds of seafood. If you are not allergic to seafood, I doubt you will have a problem.

I am very consistent with it. At 6 weeks I started to see a lot of baby hairs. That’s a long time to be taking pills twice a day without noticing a difference, but new hair growth takes time. At 4 months have many short hairs just growing like grass out of my head. If you’re struggling with hair thinning I do think this is a worthy place to start in treating it - at least it has been for me.
