I have been using Viviscal Pro for about 2 years, along with a mild steroid RX prescribed by my dermatologist. In the first 3 months there was a marked improvement. The steroid was stopped but I continued with Viviscal. Since then there has been significant loss and even tho I have been using the steroid again, nothing seems to be keeping my hair from falling out. Stick with it!
I began taking these vitamins about a year ago, maybe 10 or 11 months. I take one in the morning and one in the evening each day. Yes, my hair has been growing quickly, along with my nails, and that's great- BUT in the past few weeks, I have noticed a significant increase in the overall thickness of my hair. As the hair affected by the vitamins grows out, I can feel a tangible difference! It took some time, of course, but is well worth it. I have never had thick hair and now, when wrapping a ponytail holder around my hair, I cannot wrap it as many times as I used to, due to the increase in thickness, or amount of hair I now have. I have recently noticed this improvement when washing my hair and styling it as well. My wet hair is heavier than it has ever been and it is taking longer to blow dry or curl my hair as there is more of it! The improvement is real and significant, but you have to be patient and wait for the hair improved by the vitamins to grow out. Stick with it as this really does work!
