This was a major disappointment. Props to the marketing team for convincing me is a next level product because it couldn’t be further than the truth. I have normal skin, not dry or oily. This product goes on so stiff and dry but also is sticky and you need to work very hard to rub it in, probably actually just rubbing it off. It’s a no for me

My goal was to keep the brush on sunscreen in my fanny pack while touring cities during my travels. I wanted to be able to easily reapply sunscreen without getting it on my hands. I found this product very difficult to effectively use. Initially I had trouble getting enough of powder onto the brush to feel as if I was covering my face. Then, several times later I opened it up and found the powder had spilled into the lid which led to it falling out all over my lap. I liked the glimmer it gave my face and hoped that it was doing its job. However it was just too hard to control and therefore use for my travel purposes.

I bought this primarily as sunscreen treatment. But it is so much more than that. The gloss is not sticky, stays put, does not bleed, and the Guava is a BEAUTIFUL color. … more

As a woman with deep skin, finding a sunscreen that actually works WITHOUT leaving a white cast has always been a challenge for me. I’ve tried a lot over the years, and most either looked gray, felt heavy, pilled under makeup, or made my skin look oily. Colorescience Total Protection No-Show Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 has honestly been one of the best sunscreens I’ve used. It blends beautifully into deep skin with no chalky residue and gives my skin a healthy, natural finish instead of looking flat or ashy. What I also appreciate is that it layers well with my skincare and makeup. Some mineral sunscreens fight against your products, but this one sits beautifully on the skin. I take skincare seriously, especially as I’ve gotten older, and sunscreen is non-negotiable for me. This one makes daily wear easy because it actually feels elegant on the skin. If you have melanin-rich skin and struggle with mineral sunscreens, this one is definitely worth trying.
