I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin and can’t tolerate retinol. This is a fantastic alternative to that. It has a lovely light fragrance and a little goes a long way. I have nails that delaminate, and I have tried many products that are marketed to address this problem. Most of them are sold as some type of "nail strengthener" and unfortunately, they do nothing to address my problem. I am pleased to say that this product has provided me some success in growing out my nails. It takes awhile to grow them out but when I am diligent about applying the product daily, it does strengthen them. It also seems to secure the delamination. I have been using it for about three weeks now and during this time, they are significantly improved. I believe my condition is age-related so I don't expect to eliminate the problem entirely, but at least my nails look much better and they are growing out nicely. I am pleased with the progress thus far. Incidentally, I came upon this product after reading a medical journal article about an ingredient that has shown to be effective in addressing nail delamination, and I learned this product contains that ingredient so the results are evidence-based in a scientific research study.
