Great for winter skin
I actually mix this with the elta md body lotion for my super dry winter skin. It works really well and has helped heal some of the super dry patches. Also great for dry hands!

good, but understand what you are buying
this is basically vaseline, so for the price, maybe not such a great deal. that said, you get 2 bottles for the price and it can last you a long time. in my opinion, eltamd is a gold standard in facial products. this does not disappoint. recommended to me for post ipl moisturization, it has become a go-to for extra hydration overnight during the winter and during the day ay my super dry office. it only take a little - warm it up between your hands and pat on. can be used on face and body and is also good on scabs.

I agree with comments about it being petroleum, however, with a few other ingredients it does glide on a little easier especially if you are using it on your face. I like it for after I use my own gylcolic acid masks. It soothes my face and keeps it from burning. But it on sale and you wont feel like you paid a lot for petroleum! I do like this product and a little goes a long way!

intense moisturizer is a great product. It was referred to me by my dermatologist. Its convenient to use during the day its mainly refined petrolatum. I love it. I have used it for years. Skin like a baby!
I love this product and have been using it for about 5 years. I was very excited to see that Lovely Skin has this product and will be ordering from here when mine runs out. I have very dry skin. I leave the container in the shower. When my skin is still damp, I apply all over my body. It does not take much. It starts out greasy, but it absorbs very quickly. Leaves your skin feeling baby soft. I also use this product after I exfoliate on my face. It has never broken me out. I have even put it under my eyes at night, if they look a little dry.

This is an awesome cream, a little goes a long way! I have a tendency to get oily skin and use a retin A cream. I still use this at night as my night cream after the retin A and it is not too greasy and really takes care of your skin! Awesome price!

Not too impressed...
Same product as the EltaMD Intense Moisturizer only it's in a tube. Not very different from petroleum jelly or vaseline and a lot more expensive. Elta makes other products far superior to this one that feel less like a drugstore quick fix. It "melts," but never really goes away.

Glorified Jar of Vaseline
I usually LOVE most Elta MD products,but when I opened the jar I realized that what I bought was just an expensive jar of Vaseline; shame on me for not reading the ingredients. I also found that while it did "melt" it didn't ever really fully get absorbed and left a shiny sheen and greasy film on my skin. I use mainly Elta products, but was very disappointed in this one. I would recommend the AM and PM Elta creams instead of this one.
