Weightless and great coverage
Living in coastal California my entire life my skin has been really abused. Now I’m super careful about applying sunscreen to my face, hands and any exposed skin EVERY day, rain or shine. Tingling sensation
I had high hopes for this sunscreen, but I get a tingling sensation about 20 minutes after I put this on my face. I usually don't get pimples, but I got a few breakouts on my face the next day I used this product. I had to give it another try on another day, and the same thing happened. I think my sensitive skin is reacting to octocrylene, and I do not recommend this product to individuals with sensitive skin. This product is sitting on my vanity and I have no use for it.

Great SPF for the face
This is always my last step in my morning routine. It is very light weight, non-greasy and leaves no white residue on my face and neck. I never have a problem with it balling up on my skin when I apply my foundation. I purchase the 1.7 oz size and it will last me about 4 months of daily use on my face and neck only. I have combo skin, so depending on the Texas weather and humidity, I will use a small amount of a matte primer on my T-zone areas after this SPF if needed before I apply my makeup. This does not dry out my skin like other SPFs will do. I apply it to the back of my hand because it has a very fluid like consistency rather than a lotion like other brands. I like this consistency because it does not sit on my skin. I recommend you give it a try.

I love this sunscreen for days when I'm active or plan to be in the sun for an extended amount of time. It stays on and is easy to apply under makeup. I've reapplied it over makeup without a huge mess, it's less sticky than true waterproof sunscreen. For by the pool, I use a different brand. However, I've given this to my husband to use by the pool (not as much IN the pool) and it works fine. It absorbs easily without getting stuck in his beard area. Highly recommend!

I have been using this sunscreen for 2 years. I used to use tinted but prefer clear under makeup or alone. I also use on neck and chest and arms. My skin has zero spots and I’m in my 60’s. Yes when younger I baked! The fact that it is not tinted is good as it doesn’t get on clothes

Great sunscreen for outdoor activities.
I love the EltaMD tinted mineral sunscreens, but I'd been searching for a light weight, water resistant sunscreen for workouts and this seems to be it. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sticky or tacky feel. I've even started using it on my forearms and hands when I'm driving in the car because it also absorbs well over my body lotion.
