Mattifying primer
I have mixed feelings when it comes to primers. In fairness this has been an incredibly humid hot summer and everything melts off my face even with primer and spray setter. This has the consistency of water. It goes on smoothly and is instantly absorbed into my skin. My pores do appear minimized and skin more even toned when I apply this. I do like the way it looks, however I am not sure that it really mattifies for any length of time or really prolongs or improves the adherence of make up - either liquid or powder. I want my make up to be completely invisible, I don’t want to see anything in my pores. I am not sure it does that completely, but on its own it does make the skin look better. It’s fairly expensive, so I might explore other primer samples I have before deciding on whether to repurchase.

I like Jane Iredale products! This is a good product also. I probably won’t order it again, though. It does an ok job, but my skin has been around for 70 years and seems to need a touch more.

Love this primer!
I have been using Jane Iredale primers for years. I particularly like this one as it prepares the skin for my mineral foundation. It also helps control the shine. As with all Jane Iredale products they leave my skin feeling breathable and never weighed down with product or makeup.

Live up to its promise
I don’t wear makeup every day, but when I use foundation I need a primer. Menopause hot flashes melts my foundation off. This product helps holding on to it longer, it’s not drying, none irritating. Definitely makes a big difference in the way makeup looks and lasts. I have very sensitive skin, usually break out from most products, but so far this one works.
