I received several of the matte primer samples and I loved them so much I decided to order it. For some reason the large tube doesn’t seem to work as well as the samples. It’s watery and doesn’t give the same blurring, matte effect. It’s very strange and I probably won’t order this again.

Don’t Skip the Primer
I did not use primer for so many years. It didn’t seem that essential to my makeup routine. But I was definitely wrong. The illuminating glow primer is wonderful and now one of my favorite products. This is the first time that I have ordered this particular primer. I did not find it to be anything special. It was costly and I doubt that I would order it again. Other brands work better and are less expensive. I get this at Lovelyskin as well.

Good for dry skin
Works surprisingly well. Goes on more like a moisturizer, however holds makeup in place. It’s not sticky, waxy or dry feeling like many primers.. I haven’t tried in in the blaze of summer yet, so we’ll see how it holds up. I do have mature skin on the dryer side.

I love this brightening primer because it does what it’s supposed to do. It brightens the complexion without a greasy shiny look and holds the makeup all day. It works very well with the pressed powder foundation by adding some “life” to the complexion and keeping things from being flat and dull. I also have the illuminating primer but I like the brightening one the best.
