I've only used the Hydrate Facial Moisturizer a few times.... when I feel my face needs the hydration. I use the Obagi NuDerm line pretty regularly along with Obagi Vitamin C products. It feels and smells similar to the Hydrate Luxe which I have used mostly in fall and winter when my skin feels too dry and, so far, I've only used it at night. It feels great!

A Must Have for Your Daily Routine
This moisturizer rates far above any daily moisturizer I've ever used. I'm not at all surprised to see it's a LS staff favorite. I use it after my vitamin C and/or other serums and it's the finishing touch my skin needs for the day. Even without serums it goes on so smooth and you can immediately feel it soak in and hydrate the skin. It doesn't leave a greasy feel at all and make up goes on nicely afterwards. What stands out most for me is that on the few occasions that I skipped it in a hurry I could physically feel the difference all day. Highly recommend!

I will never stop buying this.
I started using Obagi Hydrate 3 1/2 years ago and it is by far the best moisturizing cream I have found. I have tried other products, most more expensive and have always come back. There is no need to look further. It is super hydrating but very gentle. No matter how dry or irritated, my skin is, it is always soothing where other creams may sting. I am 58 years old with slightly dry skin. I also use it to buffer my Retin A lotion and it allows me to use it without irritation.
