Helps Greatly with Dark Pigmentation
My skin is pretty fair, but I live in a high desert, outdoor oriented environment. Which is very hard on my skin. Obagi Nu-Derm in this new formulation really fades the dark spots of uneven pigmentation, and without irritation. This product is a big improvement over the previous formulation which had hydroquinone and was quite irritating.

Don't waste your money or time!
I bought this with strong skepticism because many physicians tell you that sunspots (or brown spots) cannot be removed with any creams. I read all the reviews so I took a chance, as Doctors are NOT always thinking of one's best interest..... I used the product regularly and as advised but it's been ~ 1 month or slightly over and still no change in the appearance of the sunspots I have on my face.

After watching a presentation of the Obagi Nu-Derm system, I decided to try some of the products, one of which was the Clear FX. I have only been using it for a few weeks, but I have noticed a difference in my sun spots. They do appear lighter. I have tried so many different products in the past that claim to lighten dark spot. The Clear Fx does work. Great product. Worth a try.

Been using the product two weeks, and it appears brown spots are fading slightly. GOOD! If you are a fan of fancy packaging and specific dose dispensing, you might find this product disappointing. And if you are older, get out your reading glasses because the product does not come in a box and the writing on the back of the product is nearly microscopic.

I had several friends who have sung Obagi praises but honestly I can’t say that I’ve seen any dramatic difference to justify the cost. I have always taken care of my skin so maybe that’s why I couldn’t really tell any difference. I would thing long and hard before I’d make this purchase. Sorry, I wanted it to “work” for me but I’ll probably go back to what I was using.

All the products in the Obagi Nu-Derm System work synergistically to achieve the results of a clearer, brighter, smooth and radiant skin. This Hydroquinone free products take a little longer to fade out the dark spots, age spots or sun-damaged pigmented skin unlike the original RX version with 4 % Hydroquinone. Yes, the products are pricey but well worth it in the long run for a clearer, even tone complexion. I don't wear any makeup now and have received many compliments on my skin... I highly recommend these products.

This is more like a light cream, not a serum
I bought this thinking it would be a liquid serum that I could apply with my other serums before my moisturizer. It's actually a cream that you squeeze out of a tube. I did not read the description or look at the photo carefully before buying. This is a "treatment" in a cream format. Just mentioning for people who are looking for a traditional serum. Because this is a cream, I find it hard to work into my routine. Using this cream is not appealing to me. The texture is mediocre (not particularly elegant), so I am not motivated to apply it diligently. I would rather use my other, much nicer moisturizers instead of this one as the final step in my routine. But a good place to use this cream would be on the body - like the decollete - because this applies easily over a large area. I've decided to use this on my upper chest where I have some dark spots.
