I am not sure how I feel about the hydroquinone-free Obagi Clear. I was a long time user of the original Obagi Clear and liked they way it worked with my moisturizer and sunscreen, This formula doesn't seem to work as well. Also, I haven't been using it long enough to see if my hyperpigmentation stays at bay.

Still waiting for results
I was expecting a more noticeable improvement after three weeks of use. I will continue and hope for a better result. I have to be careful and apply only to the age spots. Too much product on surrounding skin causes redness.

A great and gentle product to help lighten dark spots. I use this with the Obagi C 20% cream. It does the job without drying my skin. It will take a couple of weeks to see an improvement. I use argan oil at night to keep my face hydrated. Obagi products are of such good quality.

New Hydroquineone-Free Formula
I am use to using the formula with Hydroquinone and therefore, this product is I m not a huge fan off. I still have not seen a distance in my discoloration of my skin. I will use this product until it is all down but I will not repurchase it.

Removes hyperpigmentation
I have been an Obagi user for 20 years and Obagi Clear has been a staple to remove sun spots and hyperpigmentation. Since I am on a maintenance program, I use Clear 3x/week and top it off with sunblock in the daytime. At night, I top it off with Blender mixed with tretinoin. I just turned 60y/o but everyone compliments me on my clear and dewy skin.

I left the Obagi product line about a year ago with advice from a esthetician and started using her suggested product line. Although I find the esthetician very sweet I have resumed using Obagi. I took my own before and after pictures and am very happy to be using Obagi again! My freckles and other discolorations are diminishing and my fine lines are less visible. My only wish is for these products to be less expensive.

The previous Obagi Clear with Hydroquinone was more effective in fading dark spots. This new formula took over 5 weeks to see results that used to take a week with the Hydroquinone formula. But, it works well enough…
