This spreads well and wears well on the skin. Its too soon for me to know if the arbutus in this product will help with the discoloration, but I am hopeful. I am using this instead of the prescription version to give my skin a break from hydroquinone. So far so good!

I am not sure how I feel about the hydroquinone-free Obagi Clear. I was a long time user of the original Obagi Clear and liked they way it worked with my moisturizer and sunscreen, This formula doesn't seem to work as well. Also, I haven't been using it long enough to see if my hyperpigmentation stays at bay.

Since I am on a maintenance program, I use Clear 3x/week and top it off with sunblock in the daytime. At night, I top it off with Blender mixed with tretinoin.
