I Think Its Working!
I have only been using this product a short period of time, thus, the 3-stars. The product is gentle enough for my 60-yr-old, sensitive, slightly oily skin. A little goes a long way, disappears quickly into the skin, and have not noticed any peeling or flakiness (but, I have used Retin A mixed with my nightly moisturizer for quite a while). I cant use an abrasive exfoliation method due to my skin sensitivity so, I am hopeful this is working.

Effective and Gentle
I have fairly resilient skin. At 59 I have used Retin-A for over 25 years. At this age, I need a little exfoliation, but everyone that I have tried leaves my face a peeling mess. With Exfoderm Forte #4 I have the exfoliation that I want, but my face doesnt get too dry.

Use carefully and it works!
On the advice from my aesthetician, I worked my way slowly into this product. I use all of Obagis system along with Retin A. For the 1st couple weeks, I only used once a week. Then for about about 3 weeks, every 3 days. I just now started using this every other day. If I experience too much sensitivity, I just stop use for a few days and begin again. This product contains glycolic and lactic acids which aide in skins renewal process when used with all of Obagis products. I cant tell what this product does on its own, but the whole system has completely renewed my 38 year old skin. I love how my skin glows and is super smooth and acne free. I only use the Exfoderm Forte on my face, have read in multiple places this should not be used on your neck or chest. I have been using the other Obagi products on my neck and chest - with equally wonderful results as my face.

Best system for getting rid of melasma/hyperpigmentation
Exfoderm Forte is great for getting rid of old skin and revealing beautiful skin underneath. I find that in order of importance, (with most important to least important): Retin A, Obagi Blender, Obagi Clear and exfoderm forte. You really need all 4 for optimal results. Love Obagi products for allowing me to have beautiful skin.
