Great for acne!
My dermatologist advised I use a retinol and had me start on .5 and then move to 1.0 after I adjusted. I had purchased Obagi products before and knew they were quality products so I bought the 1.0 Retinol. It took some adjusting to the higher strength but I weaned myself in slowly and just as my doctor said, the blemishes stopped. Bonus, my pores look smaller and my skin is softer. You MUST wear sunscreen when using retinols. Even if you don’t have blemishes, your skin will benefit from using retinols, just go slow and listen to your skin.

I had been using .5 cream and my dermatologist recommended that I increase to 1.0. So far I am doing great with it. I have sensitive skin. I have not worked up to 7 nights yet, but probably use it every other night, then a night cream on the off nights. Very pleased with the results so far!

I've used this product for a few years and it used to work well on light age spots with no skin irritation. But I have a spot that hasn't changed with daily use for over a year. If you have had trouble using a Retinol cream, this time released cream could work for you. I started with the 0.5 cream and then switched to this, the 1.0 Retinol cream. First Retinol product I have been able to use without irritation. Have had people ask me what product I use on my face.
