Very moisturizing and excellent anti-aging lightweight hydrator
I love the new SkinMedica HA5 Hydra Collagen Replenish + Restore Hydrator. I first apply the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum and then this hydrator to my face. It feels so refreshing, dewy and moist after application. I have noticed a difference in the way my skin feels and looks. I will continue to use this product as I am seeing great results.

Really Disappointed
I was so excited about this new formulation. Having used the previous "older" formulation for at least a decade, I didn't know how it could possibly be improved. I was hoping that my skin would look even more hydrated, but it didn't. Instead, it dries my skin out. The day after I use it my skin flakes and peels. :( At first, I thought maybe it was something else I was using, but I wasn't doing anything different. I won't purchase it again.

Performs well, smells bad
Almost every type of moisturizer makes me break out. This doesn't. It performs well, but do spritz your face with a finger mister before you apply it so it absorbs better. It doesn't cause sunscreen to pill. The only drawback is it smells bad. I can overlook that though. I have the SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator which smells nice. Wish this one did too.

However, something in my routine is causing pilling, and I’m trying to figure out if this product is the culprit or if it’s a combination issue. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the pilling concern and the higher price point. While I like the product, I’m still undecided about repurchasing.
