First ever Retinol product!
This is my first ever Retinol product and I am newly obsessed with this brand! I am currently using this every other night, alternating with an AHA product. It's going well and I am experiencing virtually no irritation from using this, so I am hopeful I can bump up the strength to maybe 1.0 after this one's out. I do use around 2-2.5 pumps instead of just 1 pump like the directions state. I hope that's okay . . . just want to make sure I'm putting enough on to do its job. :)

Non- irritating!
This retinol cream is by far the best one I have used! I do not have the extreme dryness and irritating skin that other retinol creams. All you need a one pump to cover your whole face!!

Makes a big difference!
I was nervous about using a retinol because I have tried another one in the past and it made my skin so dry and red. This is very gentle and a great way to slowly add retinol into your routine. I've been using it twice a week for about a month now and only saw very mild purging which cleared up quickly. No redness or peeling yet but I will be slowly starting to use it more frequently which might cause that. I've noticed that my skin looks much more bright and even and it has definitely helped with acne scarring and dark spots which I was surprised about because it is such a low percentage. Will continue using this brand and slowly increasing the retinol strength!

Perfect "starter" dosage
Since this is my first time using retinol- in my late 30's- I was thrilled to find a product that had this dosage. So far, after only using it a handful of times, I have experience some of the expected drying. That is OK as I knew that would happen. It is summertime so I am waiting for cloudier days to really give this a go. I could not imagine using a higher dosage of retinol so I will continue to buy this!

This is a very mild retinol that is great for beginners or for people with sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin and I can use this retinol 2-3 times a week. Others I have tried caused peeling and redness but this one leaves my skin looking great!!

Best retinol product I have used yet!
I can see a visible difference in skin health after using this formula even though I was previously using another brand's product with a higher retinol percentage. I think I will be staying with SkinMedica Retinol 0.25! The only downside is that the metal packaging is heavy and not great for travel.

My First Retinol
This product is actually my first retinol skin product I’ve ever used in my skincare regime. I don’t find it too strong when applying to my face. I was having a lot of issues controlling breakouts I’ve never had to be concerned with and I believe this product has slowly helped me repair skin barrier and start the repair.

Great retinol for sensitive, dry skin
Due to recent gastrointestinal issues, my skin which was always sensitive has been severely dehydrated and any previous retinol formulas I used were discontinued because of the irritation from them. I used this everyday for a week straight anticipating some sort of irritation but surprisingly there was none. Also, improved the texture in just a week.
