I was nervous about using a retinol because I have tried another one in the past and it made my skin so dry and red. This is very gentle and a great way to slowly add retinol into your routine. I've been using it twice a week for about a month now and only saw very mild purging which cleared up quickly. No redness or peeling yet but I will be slowly starting to use it more frequently which might cause that. I've noticed that my skin looks much more bright and even and it has definitely helped with acne scarring and dark spots which I was surprised about because it is such a low percentage. Will continue using this brand and slowly increasing the retinol strength!

Perfect "starter" dosage
Since this is my first time using retinol- in my late 30's- I was thrilled to find a product that had this dosage. Good serum but just not for me...
I concluded that it is this serum that causes my irritating/dry/itchy skin on my face. Every time I use this, I get irritated. It's very unfortunate and very weird because the ingredients sound really good and it contains everything your skin needs for anti aging.
