Strength and Healing!
Using Retinol Complex 1 every night became so painful it was hard to go to sleep. Now, using Retinol .5 one night and then Retinol 1 the next night is excellent!! The pain has gone away and so have many, many of the lines!!

Really like this Vitamin A
I started using this 2 years ago and it’s the best formula I’ve found. It works. It’s powerful, follow the instructions. I started with this before introducing prescription Retin A. Now, I like to keep it on hand for the in between nights I don’t want to use my prescription due to sensitivity. When and if my skin is ready, I’ll bump up to the SkinMedica 1.0 before bumping up my prescription Retin A. Angry skin is not my goal, and using SkinMedica 0.5 keeps my skin looking AND feeling great. No more vitamin A cracking and peeling.

SkinMedica Retinol Complex 0.5
I have used the SkinMedica products in the past, and I think they are excellent products. My experience with the Retinol Complex this time around is that at my age --70-- there really was no visible improvement. And although I will continue to use it until it is used up, I will not be ordering it again. I don't think anything short of Botox, fillers, laser surgery or a face lift can really make a difference at my age. I may be wrong, but that is my opinion.

Gentle and effective Retinol
My dermatologist recommends a skin care regimen that includes a retinol product. I have had a hard time finding one that does not cause my skin to burn & flake until now. I started out using SkinMedica years ago when it just came out. My skin is sensitive, so I started with the .05 and moved up to 1.0. I live in a humid climate in the summer months, so I use the higher. But once in the Desert, I go back down to .05. Start slow, and I promise you will see results in time.
