Strong stuff!
I have had a hard time adjusting to this strength although I had used .3% retinol of another brand for 8 months. I started out only at once a week and gradually worked up to every other night over two months and I am still seeing an ugly peel. I am now planning to dial it back in frequency again to see if that helps. I do realize peeling is part of the process but I thought my skin skin would have adjusted after 2-3 months. I do like the pump bottle since it keeps the product fresh and it dispenses a perfect amount.

Work your way up to the 1.0
It took me quite awhile to get my skin to accept the 1.0 strength after moving up from the .5. But now that it's used to it, I love it! Try combining the Retinol with your night time moisturizer while first using.

This is a very good skin turnover but proceed carefully as it can cause skin to peel and be red. I went from .5 to the 1.0 and only use the 1.0 twice a week.

This is my second bottle of Retinol Complex 1.00 and my skin loves it! It's pretty powerful stuff so I mix a couple of pumps in with my EltaMD Barrier repair cream every other night and my skin responds very well to it. It has so many yummy ingredients in there! But it doesn't get a full 5 stars because it is very strong and I don't think most people could handle it applied directly on bare skin.
