Works better than I expected
I was surprised when I used this that I peeled. I had been using adapalene with is a retinoid (not retinol) that does not need to convert in your skin and I used it every day with hardly any peeling. So I used this product every day too and to my surprise my face became irritated and red so I stopped and waiting a few days and I could literally pull the skin off with my finger like when you have a sunburn that heals and your skin comes off in small sheets. I use it every other day then stop when it gets a little red and burning feeling and let the skin peel. I really think this works great for a retinol.

I was anxious to bump up the percentage after using the lower strength. You must go slowly and work up to using every day. Right now I can only use it about twice per week because my skin peels. It will definitely help the skin.

Strong Retinol
I used to use a prescription retinol and this OTC is just as effective. I buffer with moisturizer every time I use it which is every other night. Otherwise I get dry and flaky. Well worth the price.

Excellent, gentle Rentiol
I have been using this for years. I started using it after I was having "adult acne" issues. It has taken care of those issues for sure.
