Be prepared for flaking

This retinol is serious stuff. The retinol in it is number 4 in the list of active ingredient that's why it works for both anti-aging and adult acne. I use this in between Differin 1% every other night. It makes your skin peels and dry, but that's how you know it works. It peels the top layer of your skin, so the blemishes and uneven color of the skin slowly goes away.

I have sensitive skin, and this retinol does not irritate me. I built up to this level by using the lower levels first, and if I get a facial or get a little sun (unintentionally) I may experience some redness, but if I take a couple days off, I am fine. I continue to repurchase this product because I think it is great. My skin glows, and I notice fewer fine lines when using this product.

EXCELLENT ANTI-AGING INGREDIENTS
In addition to the Retinol, this product contains outstanding anti-aging ingredients–niacinamide, peptides and ceramides. Plus, the Retinol is not buried towards the bottom of the ingredient list. Highly recommend as 2nd best to a prescription version. However, I have not seen any improvement in my lines and wrinkles. It has, though, improved the texture of my skin. I'm 58 and realize Retinol does not work miracles either!

I have been using the Retinol 1.0 for about 9 months. I only use it twice a week. It is a great product, but it took me a long time to build up to the 1.0. I started out with the .2, then .5, and finally the 1.0 It is a great antiaging product.

Working well so far
I have just started using this product, but I have previously used Retinol products and I can tell this is already working. I am definitely getting redness and flaking but that is because I haven't used any retinol in a while. This is what I want, as it is turning over new skin. I tend to get dark spots, and they are already lightening. Can't wait to see how this works long term.
