I think that SkinMedica has the best retinol products. I use the different strengths depending on what is going on with my skin. I have very sensitive skin and find these products to be the best for me. I will continue to purchase these retinol products because they are by far the best.

I have been a long time customer of another retinol product, however, it didn’t seem to work as well as SkinMedica. I apply the TNS Serum then the retinol, after that I apply HA5. My skin feels smoother, not dry and flaky. The HA5 holds in the moisture keeping my skin resilient and supple with age.

So, I use the retinol 1.0 at night. I use the TNS recovery serum in the morning, and I love the HA5. I get compliments all the time on my youthful skin. I am 64 years old.

Serious Retinol
I've tried prescription products which were too much for my skin. I had lots of peeling and breakouts. This product gives the same result without the negative symptoms. I did have a bit of mild peeling at first. I cut back the amount used by half and am seeing great results. My skin is softer and is beginning to glow, something I never thought I would see again. So I decided to order the regular size, but unfortunately as soon as I used the product, my skin started to peel, so I decided to use it 2 times a week but my skin still peels. Better than Prescription Retinoids!

If you are like me and know how important a good retinol is, you will love this one. It's potent, and it works. Use sparingly at first. I have used 2 other 1.0 retinols, and this one is more potent. Use 1/2 as much until you see how your skin responds.

You can't go wrong with the help of Retinol for helping to minimize wrinkles and brown spots. I have been using this product since it came out years ago, and I promise you it will work if you do it right and start out slow - I use the 1.0 in the summer months with the Midwest temps then change off to .05 in the winter months in AZ.

Be patient
My skin had to adapt to the retinol 1% cream. For the first week, there was a lot of peeling and dry patches (I thought that was also part of the process for new fresh skin), so I skipped a night here and there and moisturized my skin. I am about 3 weeks into my nightly retinol and there is no more peeling. My face looks fresher and brighter, but I am waiting to see some of my sun spots lighten and hopefully disappear. I am going to give it a couple of months or until I finish the first purchase of retinol.
