Favorite retinol
This is my favorite retinol. It doesn’t dry me out. I use it every other night with my moisturizer and my skin is glowing.

Switched and saw a difference in a week
I've been using another retinol for years and stopped getting results for minor skin discoloration. After a week and a half of this, my skin is noticably smoother, tighter and there's no discoloration under my eyes. Yes it's very strong and I've had to go to using it only 3x a week, but that tells me it's working. I'm 55 and highly recommend this for post menopausal skin!

I started using this after switching from a different 1% retinol serum. WOW what a difference. I can see much more of a difference in my skin within a week of using this when compared to the other serum. There is definitely reason why this is a little more expensive. Will definitely buy this again when I run out.

Great retinol!
This is a great strong retinol. I like the lotion consistency as well. You can't skip applying moisturizer after it, especially in the winter, or it will dry you out.

This stuff is gold. It doesn’t work overnight so stay patient. I started with the 0.5% and now onto 1%. In combination with chemical peels, my skin is radiant and so much more even. An absolute must to add to your skin regimen!

Graduated from the .05 to this. Good product, but not a miracle worker. Have been using consistently and hard to say I’ve had any dramatic changes in fine lines, brightening, yet I trust it’s doing it job. Huge plus that it doesn’t make be breakout. Will continue to use. Be careful when applying other products even when at different times of the day - I use 15% azelaic acid in the morning and I battled through severe flakey/dry skin. I think I’m past that point now, but it took some time for my skin to get used to both products even though I apply one in the AM and one in the PM.

Take it from a medical esthetician- this 1.0 Retinol is amazing!
As a medical esthetician I know about good skincare products. I can say this is a very effective anti-aging retinol. The formula is just as effective as prescription tretinoin for smoothing my complexion, eliminating many of my sun spots and giving me a much brighter and more youthful appearance. I don't have to pay the price of tretinoin anymore with this product.

Too harsh for me
Unfortunately this Retinol was too harsh for my face. Caused my face to continuously peel even waiting a few days before next application. Made my face red and very sensitive. Had to return it and repurchase the retinol product I’ve used in the past.

Just bumped up to the 1% Retinol. Using every other night and with a dose of moisturizer on top my skin is handling it well. No redness a small amount of peeling… just what I needed to do. SkinMedica products are more expensive but I am always happy with the results.
