Flirty Eyes Tutorial

Video Summary

The best Valentine’s Day makeup is the perfect mixture of sweet and sassy. Candise gets it just right with this flirty eye look featuring our favorite pinks. So try it out yourself and get ready to turn some heads!

Before starting in on your flirty eyes, you’ll want to go ahead and complete your regular primer, foundation and concealer routine. To add a pretty glow to your cheeks, as well as the high points of your face, we recommend jane iredale Rose Dawn Bronzer. Swirl the colors together with a big, fluffy brush and sweep it over the bridge of your nose, the center of your forehead and your chin. Focus a little extra pink color on the apples of your cheeks to bring them out. It’ll look especially gorgeous when you smile.

1). The Flirty Eyes Have It

Start off by grabbing the pink shade in jane iredale Eye Shadow Triple in Pink Bliss. Apply it to your entire lid, taking it up into the crease ever-so-slightly. Next, grab the white shade in Pink Bliss and apply it to your brow bones. This area is found right under your eyebrows, and adding a highlight there can really help accentuate your arches.

The next item you’ll need is the jane iredale 24K Gold Dust Mini in the shade Rose Gold. This color is heavy on the rose with the perfect amount of gold shimmer. Use a smaller brush, like the jane iredale Detail Brush, to add color to the outer third of your eyes. Take it up in the crease a little will really make it pop. Now, return to Pink Bliss and grab the the darkest plum shade. Lightly sweep in back and forth in your crease using windshield wiper motions, blending so there are no harsh lines.

To finish up your eyeshadow, use the Detail Brush or the jane iredale Smudge Brush to add that same plummy shade to your bottom lash line. Take care to keep the color tight—too thick of a line could look a little like bruising.

Now, let’s move on to eyeliner. A liquid formula creates a striking contrast with your pink eyeshadow. We love the Mirabella Magic Marker Eyeliner, which makes any eyeliner look a breeze. Line just your top lash line and go ahead and flick it out at the corners for a cute cat eye.

No Valentine’s Day look is complete without long, flirty eyelashes, so to give this look extra oomph, Candise chose jane iredale PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner. This formula is not only great for maintaining strong, healthy lashes, it works to give a thicker, fuller appearance as well. We recommend applying it to just the top lashes.

Seal the deal on your sweet and sassy eyes with a coat or two of jane iredale PureLash Lengthening Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

2). Pucker Up!

We’re keeping the lips simple. All you need is a coat of lip stain and you’re all set. Candise chose jane iredale Lip Fixation Lip Stain in the shade Fascination. Apply just the darker, rosy shade in this dual-ended lip color and you’re all ready to go!
