Great mineral sunscreen!
I have been using this sunscreen for my acne prone skin for several years. Never seems to exacerbate my acne, provides great protection. Only downsides are *occasionally* stings when skin is very sensitive and somewhat shiny finish.

Great sunscreen!
This is a great sunscreen. I have repurchased more than 5 times! No white film is left on the skin and it is nice to be able to apply make-up after.

Elta Sunscreen
I really like this sunscreen because it is the only one I have found in my 49 years that doesn’t clog my pores or cause blemishes. I gave it a 4 only because, my face becomes a bit shiny within an hour or so after applying. However, I use this as a foundation and I rarely use powder. I just don’t like the feel of foundation or even powder. So I blot and go about my day with a lil shine . It helps camouflage the fine lines at my age so a lil shine is better than having breakouts, sun damage and accentuating your lines with heavy makeup! In fact, I will probably b ordering the tinted for the summer months.

Love the tinted aspect.
I've been using the clear and wanted a little more color. I really like this product and plan to wear it on days when no makeup is necessary.

No white cast
Blends nicely but a bit tint a bit darker than I would ideally like. No white cast. Will keep but try another EltaMD untinted or more moisturizing sunscreen when this runs out.

Great sunscreen
I’ve used this sunscreen for 3 years and it’s great! Not greasy at all and very lightweight. My two teenage daughters love it too. Highly recommend

Mediocre tint
Although the product has a tint I feel like it doesn’t cover as much as I expected. However, the ingredients are top notch and provide excellent protection from the sun. This product does not irritate my dry and sensitive skin.

Doesn’t cause any reactions to my sensitive skin
It didn’t cause any reactions or make my rosacea act up. It doesn’t melt in your skin well enough and leaves streaks. I feel I need to moisturize before I use this sunscreen. My dermatologist recommended this for rosacea prone, sensitive skin. I will continue to use, just have to rub in very well and moisturize prior to use.

Sensitivity between Elta MD's Suncreens
I have sensitive skin and many sunscreens. I've tried over the years break me out. I love EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 non-tinted but feel my skin is more sensitive to the tinted. Will use the tinted off and on until it's gone and may change my mind, but will mainly use the non-tinted.

Great sunscreen for acne prone skin
I wanted a hydrating SPF for daytime so I purchased this after learning it was highly rated by dermatologist. It goes on white at first but then blends right in. You can smell sunscreen at first also but that soon goes away. I like all the helpful ingredients and high SPF coverage. Not very hydrating for winter but does the job. I will repurchase. SPF is so important!

Lightweight but dries a little chalky
This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist. In the past, I had used a popular mineral tinted moisturizer with an SPF of 25. My doctor prescribed TriLuMa to treat a few sun damage spots and told me I would need a higher SPF sunscreen. I originally tried the sample provided by Lovely Skin in another order of a slightly different Elta MD formulation and liked it very much. (In fact, when I use up this product, I will reorder the 44 SPF instead.) This is formulated for acne prone problem skin and while I do have the occasional hormonal breakout, I think at 42 this is just a little too drying for my skin. That said, it provides lightweight coverage, that is slightly buildable, it will not cover dark spots or undereye circles, but it does offer evening of skin tone and photographs well. Worn alone over a regular moisturizer it leaves a somewhat dewy finish. Most days I wear it like that with under eye concealer. For special occasions I layer it under bare minerals tinted moisturizer. I do not use it as my only moisturizer as I found it to be a little drying, it seems to have a slight alcohol feel that the SPF 44 version did not and worn alone it laid in my crows feet. I now apply it over my regular daytime moisturizer. It does have a somewhat chalky appearance in certain lighting if you wear it alone, but it is not super noticeable and was easily fixed by layering over other moisturizer. I do NOT recommend getting this anywhere near your eyes. I hike and exercise daily and if you sweat a lot, and this gets in your eyes it burns with the fire of a thousand suns. Think pouring-rubbing-alcohol-in-your-eyes burn. Overall I would recommend this version to someone younger than myself especially if they struggle with acne for a light everyday minimal coverage and excellent sun protection. Personally, for someone my age with my skin conditions I will reorder the SPF 44 version as it was creamier with a slightly more opaque coverage.

Feels very nice on the skin
I just started using this on my neck. It goes on very smooth and lightly, easy to spread on dry older skin. I use a different product with a tint on my face that allows me to skip using a foundation. This product is fairly expensive at 1.7 oz, compared to purchasing a similar 3.0 oz Obagi product, when on sale.

Good for oily skin
Goes on a little wet but dries matte. Not sticky. The tiny is light in coverage and the color is a match for my light to medium skin tone.

Does what it Says!
A little too white for me. But, I am using it on my neck, chest and hands so it works. I use SkinCeuticals tinted on my face and was looking for a great option for my neck so as not to soil clothes. Works great.

EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Untinted
My aesthetician recommended this, and I've been using it now for 3 years. What a difference it has made in protecting and nourishing my skin at the same time. I'm very happy with the product and will continue to use this.
