Elta MD skincare SPF
I have been using it for about a month now, and it works great. Does not pill under makeup. The only flaw is that if I go all day without wearing any makeup, I apply it a couple of times throughout the day, and it does dry me out a bit, but I wouldn't say that is a reason to stop using it. I just soak my skin with some hydrating products later in the evening :)

Great sunscreen for the face
It works as a sunscreen. It does pull up when when I try to apply makeup over it, but I find almost all sunscreens do. It goes on fairly cleanly ( only a little white) and absorbs well. I have been using this for a few years and I don't plan to change unless the newly FDA approved sunscreen comes out for face and then hopefully Elta MD will add it to their line.

This is the best mineral sunscreen I have tried so far for my face…I do not like mineral sunscreens generally but am trying to use as recommended by the “experts”…. This one goes in very well, does not feel heavy on face… no white caste.. so all good..

Elta MD Sunscreen has saved my face!
I am 68 years old, live in a sunny, coastal climate, and walk about 3 miles a day for exercise. Great Sunscreen
I always wear sunscreen, whether I'm inside or outside. I tend to switch between the Elta MD 46 and the Elta MD 50. I like an untinted sunscreen & it's very important to apply daily early in the morning. I'm still missing the Obagi Sport Sunscreen that had a white tint, that tint seemed to enhance what little makeup I wear, crazy....I know! But the Elta MD sunscreen works great. When the Elta MD first came out it used to cause my skin to breakout so they've changed something in the formula. I'm so glad I tried it again!

Despite the product claim of calming and protecting skin prone to acne and rosacea, the area around my nose and forehead broke out within 2 days of using the elta MD UV tinted face cream. The texture and application are ideal, thus 2 stars, but I looked like a teenager with the acne lesions caused by the product.

A Summer must have!
The ingredients work for me with rosacea. At the age of 77, I have used this product for years as it was recommended to me by a dermatologist. It helps to calm my skin and keeps it well hydrated all day. Plus, during the summer there is no need to other makeup because it is tinted. Nice.
