High-Quality sunscreen
I like the tinted version of this, but for my husband I buy this un-tinted. It is non-greasy and long lasting and does the job. He needs a good sunscreen driving his convertible in the summer months, and he's a fan of this one.

Used this for years
I've used this for years, and originally got it from my dermatologist, but this site has a better price. Most of the time this is all I use as foundation, especially in the summer. The tint is enough for decent coverage, but it feels so much lighter in the heat and humidity than a regular foundation. I'm not into heavy foundation anyway, and even when I switch back to it when I need more coverage, I do so sparingly, which means this ends up being my foundation more often than not all year. It is reasonably moisturizing, non-greasy, and I've never had any issues with skin-sensitivity to it. I can even use it on my eyelids with no stinging, which I can't always do with sunscreen.

I've invested in the Elta MD sunscreen line 3x so far. The first time I purchased a sunscreen it was the Elta MD SPF 40 Facial sunscreen. I did not like the white cast that accompanied the application. After doing some more research, I found this gem. I use topical tretinoin at night and my skin can sometimes get a little dry. This formula has been soothing, smoothing, and best of all essentially white cast-free! I'll take that. As a melanated sista, I do not appreciate the dreaded white cast, ghost-like Casper appearance. It is not appealing to walk around looking like a zombie or ashen to the face. I appreciate the good ingredients, lack of white cast and how well it absorbs on my generally oily skin. I even gave one to my mom who is a darker complexion than I am. 5/5 stars for sure.

The best of all sunscreens
I'm Irish with transparent skin that burns immediately, plus I've struggled with acne and melasma for all my adult life (I'm 42). I've tried soooo many different sunscreens trying to find one that addresses all my issues - intense sun protection since I live in the south, doesn't aggravate my acne, is light enough to wear under makeup, doesn't bead up - and this is the ONLY one I've found that does it all. I thought I'd love the tinted version of this one the most, but I didn't notice that it gave me any sort of skin tone smoothing out - it just made my washcloths brown - so I've finally decided this is the winner... no more shopping around.

I use this tinted sunscreen daily. It is creamy and smooth with no white residue so it looks great alone. Then, it works well under my powder base helping give a smooth finish. What a delight that it doesn’t irritate my small areas of eczema like other sunblocks for faces have. I have no problem reapplying it during the day since it feels so light like nothing is on my face. EltaMD UV Clear Broad-spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen- Tinted is my all time favorite.

This sunscreen is lightweight, blends in nicely, no white cast, and effectively protects skins from burning in the sun. It is not meant to be a moisturizer, so I like to moisturize some time before using this SPF. If you need to reapply, it does a great job of staying smooth and not balling up like other SPFs do. I like to use it on my neck and chest as well.
