Great sunscreen
This applies nicely, and I now use it every day. Love the tint which covers a bit of my PIH and dark circles. I do not think it helped with fading my pigmentation though. Wish it has a less shiny finish. It piles up sometimes when I scratch my face at the end of day. It also piles up with concealer if I do not apply carefully so one star deducted.

Nice face sunscreen
This is one of my favorite tinted sunscreens for face. I have the untinted as well. Goes on nicely, no drag, and doesn't ball up like some. I have found EltaMD to be the best brand for me as far as face sunscreen. I have skin cancers, had Mohs surgery and protection from the sun is a must. My skin is sensitive and seems to break out even tho I am 60, but EltaMD has been the best product for me. LovelySkin.com offers a good price, samples, reward points and great customer service!

Not too thick
I've been using the clear version of this sunscreen for years. It is my favorite. But in the summer months, I'm looking to add more color to my skin without going in the sun. Usually tinted sunscreens are too cakey/heavy for me. This one isn't. It still feels light and sheer. I have just started using it but am enjoying it so far. I also using the Elta sports sunscreen SPF 50 during the summer months for extra protection.

not for light skin tones
This is a lovely, thin, somewhat liquidy moisturizing sunscreen that is wonderful for the face. It spreads easily and does not leave you looking greasy. The tint is best for medium skin tones. On my light olive skin, it is too warm and dark (even with some "white" sunscreen mixed in). If you need a lighter color, the Elta 41 is lighter and cooler in tone, though the formula is slightly thicker. Also, this product is unscented.

Wonderful coverage!
Wonderful coverage! This product provides excellent coverage, while at the same time not being pore clogging. With other products, I find that I sweat through the products when I am overheated, but do not experience that with this. The only reason I gave it a four out of five stars is because I wish it was a higher SPF. Will purchase again.

Love the ingredients
I chose this because highly rated and has some beneficial ingredients. It's definitely more a lotion consistency than a cream (i.e. A little more on the watery side), so would be nice for oily to normal skin. Mine is dry, so I tend to like creams.

I've never been a fan of putting on sunscreen until I was introduced to EltaMD UV Clear by my sister. I've been using EltaMD Ultra clear for over 1 year and 1/5 now. I must say that I LOVE it. It's not like any other sunscreen I had used before. It's moisturizing and doesn't give me the white cast. Not too oily, it's perfect. I have normal to dry skin. I have the one in tinted, wish I could have gotten the one in untinted because the tinted one is a bit too orange on me. I am light to medium with warm yellow undertone. make sure blend the sunscreen evenly. I am definitely going to repurchase more Elta MD sunscreen since the prices will be increasing soon. Recommend this sunscreen.

Works well, color is lighter than UV elements, darker than UV physical
This sunscreen works well but is just a bit dark for fair skin. Reducing the amount will sheer out the color, but also reduce sun protection. Personally, I mix it with the untinted version, and the color turns out much better. This tinted color is somewhere between the EltaMD UV physical (lightest) and UV elements (darkest of the three, and is more orangey). It's a pity because I love UV element's texture (very moisturizing) but hate the orange color. UV physical's color is just right, but the texture is way too dry for my dry skin. UV clear is an okay compromise, but I cannot use it around my eyes due to chemical UV filter.

Sun Protection with a smile...
I read about this product in the Wall Street Journal, an article that I felt was fair and unbiased. There are many things I like about this product: 1) easy to apply from a dispenser so that you can control amount of product you want to use. 2) contains a slight tint which compliments my skin tone. 3) It's non-greasy and goes on smoothly 4) since I am in my 70s and admit to wrinkles, this product doesn't settle in the wrinkles, but blends into my skin. 5) most importantly, it protects my skin well from further sun damage. I have ordered this product twice and will continue to do so.

Great for acne-prone skin
This is my go to sunscreen. I try other brands from time to time but always go back to it. It is indeed great for acne-prone skin, never caused breakouts, absorbs fine and protects really well. I have to make sure it is blended well though, especially close to the hairline. Otherwise some white residue shows up. I tried the tinted version, but it was too dark. As long as I am careful blending it well and wiping out the excess from the hairline, it does not make me look like a ghost, and I am happy with it.
