Great for acne prone skin!

This is the only tinted sunscreen I have found that doesn't cause acne.

I like it

I did not like the SPF products because they are heavy on the skin and feel annoying. I found the evaluation of this product you bought and experience .. I liked .. Light on the skin did not cause me any problems. Good choice for me.

Love this product!

This sunscreen goes on very smooth and absorbs quickly. I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it, as most sunscreens with zinc oxide tend to be very thick and hard to blend into skin. I am able to wear foundation over it without it feeling heavy. I love how it tones down the redness of my cheeks too! On days I don't want to wear makeup, I use the tinted version, and it is also awesome!

Fantastic produc

I've been using this product for almost a year now, and I'm completely satisfied with it. Goes on smoothly moisturize the skin and provides wonderful sun protection. I use the tinted version, and it functions as a very light base as well for those days in which I do not wish to wear full foundation

Favorite SPF

I have tried many SPFs, and this is my #1. In fact, I don't like others when comparing them to the EltaMD SPF. It is moisturizing without leaving your face greasy.

More color coverage than Skincueticals product

This product has more pigment and more coverage than SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen with SPF 50. It leaves more shine which can look greasy rather than dewy. I control shine with Colorscience Sunforgettable SPF 50 powder. Both EltaMD and SkinCeuticals products are excellent for those who want to look like they are wearing no make-up at all or for those with wrinkles and who don't want to use a foundation that will cake in the lines. The sunblocking is excellent and my face has stayed relatively untanned despite hours in the sun over the summer. I prefer SkinCeuticals for its sheerness, but this product looks and works almost as well, too.

The Best

I have been using Elta products for close to 13 years. The are wonderful! The feel so light own my skin, yet afford wonderful protection from the elements. I live in a high UV area and start each day with my Elta. I am particularly fond of the tinted Elta, as it gives me enough coverage that I can go without any other makeup most days. I am in my early 70''s, and I truly believe that Elta MD has helped preserve my skin - I often get compliments on how young my skin looks. I wouldn't change to another product even if it meant saving a few dollars. I have convinced my daughters, and several friends, all of whom are out doors in tropical sun most of the year, to use Elta products and they are also very happy.

Review for Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Tinted

I am a snow skier in the winter and a sailor in the summer. I have fair skin and have used LOTS of different sunscreens. Over the years I have developed an itchy ski rash eventually to every sunscreen I have used. My dermatologist recommended this product. I have had no reaction to daily use...and it works! It goes on evenly and easily. I like the tint - is is light and transparent. I think it evens out my skin tone without looking like makeup. I also have used the clear (no tint) on legs and arms - again with no reaction.

Fabulous!

This is the first time I have used this sunscreen and I will definitely be using this from now on. I am outdoors daily playing tennis and have used Neutrogena FACE sunscreen for years. I am now switching to EltaMD forever. This sunscreen absorbs immediately into your skin and does not feel heavy. It stays on and provides great protection. I wear it everyday!

Lightweight sunscreen

I've always been hesitant about using sunscreen after battling with oily and acne-prone skin, but this is a great product. I've been using it for about three weeks and notice that it calms any redness and does not break me out.

Acne prone skin

I was prescribed this sunscreen for my very acne prone skin. I have to have laser treatments occasionally (Isolasz) for the acne and require a very serious and effective sunscreen. This fits the bill. Also good tint color.

All Star‼️

This is an amazing product. Light weight, easily absorbed, non greasy and top notch ingredients that I need, my skin needs for overly sun protection. I have only skin and breaks out easily, this does not add grease to my face and it is so easy to apply because it is not thick and heavy. I hope more people will discover this brand of sun protection and esp this one in particular. They seldom go on sale so I stock up when it's 20% off.

EltaMD UV tinted is the best!

My cosmetic dermatologist applied this product to my face after a treatment & now it is the only day time lotion I will use! It is lightweight and the tint is awesome.

Excellent Lightweight Sunscreen

This is the only sunscreen I have tried that does not cause my face to sting. It is lightweight, dries beautifully, and leaves virtually no cast, despite containing zinc oxide. The only issue I have had is that after multiple applications -- and I try to re-apply at least twice each day -- the sunscreen begins to "flake" slightly. For those concerned to use only "all-natural" products, be aware that this sunscreen contains the chemical octinoxate. Also, the zinc is "micronized" (i.e. finely particle), the "healthfulness" of which is the source of scientific debate (but is also the reason the sunscreen leaves no white residue).
