Better than the untinted version
I regularly use EltaMD products. I have tried several of their sunscreens for face and body. I have oily, acne prone skin so I regularly use the EltaMD clear formula. I was afraid to try the tinted version because they tend to be too light for me and leave a white color on my skin. However, this blended quite nicely, and the texture feels lighter on my skin than the original formula. It is now my preferred sunscreen for daily use.

When I first starting looking into skincare routines, I learned that sunscreen was the #1 anti-aging ingredient. EltaMD products were consistently listed in internet articles for dermatologist top sunscreens and I saw this product on social media websites. I decided to order on this website because they are an authorized seller and I couldn't find this product locally. I'm glad that I had the option of ordering online via an authorized seller. In terms of the product, it's excellent. The EltaMD website says all of their sunscreens have PA +++ UVA rating. UVA rays cause aging, thus I know I am getting protection from both UVA & UVB rays with this product. I also hate any type of sunscreen that feels heavy and greasy on my skin. This one doesn't feel that way at all. It really feels like I am rubbing a light moisturizer on my skin. Very easy to use doesn't burn and I don't have to worry about color issues since I bought the non-tinted version. My husband also likes this sunscreen and the best sunscreen you can buy is the one you will use. I will definitely be re-ordering this product.

The SFP 46 provides great coverage to use over daily moisturizer to protect skin from sun damage. Very light and smooth finish. The tinted color helps to provide a more even completion to cover imperfections along with using a liquid foundation.

Excellent sunscreen
This sunscreen is light weight. It absorbs quickly and does not leave white residue on skin. It plays well with serums and foundations. The means no beading into little balls on the skin. Sometimes some sunscreens interact with silicone make up and it will bead. There is no typical sunscreen odor either.

I started using EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Untinted three years ago. I have extreme sensitivity to the sun resulting in uneven, dark splotches on my face. Elta has protected my face. I can see the difference when I compare photos that I took 4 years ago to the ones I have taken recently. Perfect for sensitive skin
I'm so happy to have finally found this product! Until now, I had not found a single sunscreen for daily use that did not immediately wreak havoc on my skin, but after using Elta for about a week, my skin's still totally clear. The texture of this product is great as it goes on very smooth and velvety. I don't wear foundation and while the tint is very sheer, it's enough to give my skin a nice even complexion.

Great sunblock to wear everyday of the year
My 13 year old daughter and I both wear this sunblock on our face and decollage everyday of the year. I love the clear formula the best. It gives a nice matte finish to your face. It doesn't cause acne, which could be an issue with my daughter given her age. Our dermatologist recommend this line of products. Living in Colordo, we need to protect our skin everyday of the year!

I've been a huge fan of the untinted version of this product for years. Normally I don't like tinted moisturizers, the tint never seems to match. I tried this because of a sample, during a camping trip and was surprised how much I love it. The shade matches my skin perfectly (I'm a light-skinned Asian) and doesn't feel thick or heavy. Not entirely sure how the tint would match ALL other skin tones, as it claims. But it evens out my skin very well and looks super natural. New fan.

I love this product. It works well, is light and has a faint scent, which I like because I don't want it strongly scented or to smell like chemicals. I have fair skin with pink undertones and was considered it wouldn't match my skin. Thankfully, the tint is very light and appears to even out my skin tone. Yet, my daughter who has darker skin can use it too. I have both the tinted and clear and think they are both great options depending on the day. I keep a bottle in my purse at all times in case I forget to put it on in the morning or need to reapply.

My favorite sunscreen!
I love this sunscreen! I originally got it as a sample and liked it so much that I purchased a bottle. It's lightweight and doesn't feel greasy at all. I've tried other sunscreens that "melt" into my eyes when I sweat and this one does not do that. I'm very light skinned and was concerned that the tint would make my face a weird/unnatural color, but it absorbs easily and looks very natural. I am also acne prone and find that this sunscreen is gentle on my skin and does not clog my pores. I will definitely continue to use this sunscreen in my daily routine!
