I have used different face sunscreen for oily/combination skin such as Lancôme and La Roche and Skinceuticals, EltaMD is by far the best, it absorbs really fast.

Best Sun Screen for sensitive skin
I love EltaMD sunscreen, especially the "Clear" product. Excellent protection and includes ingredients to even skin tone whole not irritating rosacea or eczema. Love the mineral active ingredients. The more "chemical" sunscreens Ive used have caused skin irritation.

Another great EltaMD product
As someone with very fair skin, I know the importance of a good sunscreen. This sunscreen has a high SPF rating while also doubling as a sheer foundation, with just enough tint to even skin tone. I was worried about it not matching my skin, but it blends in smoothly. Looking forward to bringing this sunscreen on vacation this winter!

Excellent product!
I have religiously used the untinted version for years ever since my dermatologist introduced me to EltaMD Clear. And now theyve upped their game with the tinted version! I like that the tinted version doesnt leave any white residue. I will say that it doesnt provide coverage so I still need makeup but it blends very nicely and gives a radiant glow to my skin after applying. Great sun protection for my acne-prone skin!

Best Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin
I have rosacea and almost every sunscreen makes my skin break out. This sunscreen does not cause any rosacea problems. I especially like the fact that it is tinted because I do not also have to wear makeup on top of the sunscreen.

Our new favorite face sunscreen
This is my husband and kids HG face sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and doesnt leave the whitish caste that other mineral sunscreens do, yet it contains a high concentration of physical sunscreen ingredients. I personally use a tinted sunscreen, but for my menfolk, the untinted version is perfect. Very highly recommended.

Best sunscreen ever
I live in Colorado, where the high altitude and frequent sunny days caused me to develop melasma by the time I was in my mid twenties. Since then, I have been religious about using a high SPF sunscreen on my face daily. I was a long time user of the Shisheido product, but they recently changed the formulation which was greasy and broke my skin out (which is saying a lot, since Im 44 and have perpetually dry skin). A lot of the other products dont have a high SPF or are chemical sunscreens, which I dont like. Thank goodness I got a sample of this stuff. Goes on clear, non-greasy, doesnt break my face out, and looks great under make-up. EltaMD, please please please never change the formulation.

I have tried so many $-$$$ varieties of sunscreen that have failed that I debated not using any at all. I spent half my life at the beach in Hawaii without sunscreen and have seen the aging effects over time. There is also the risk of developing the "C" word. Sunscreens on me are either too drying, too oily, too thick, too white, or cause breakouts. During my sunscreen research I found EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Untinted which had outstanding reviews. Its a little pricey, BUT, its absolutely wonderful! It goes on easily, disappears instantly, is fragrance free, doesnt irritate the skin or eyes, and makes my skin look normal! I havent felt the need / or want to use foundation so I cant attest to how it mixes with makeup. I will only use this brand of facial sunscreen from now on. I LOVE IT!

Perfect Daily Moisturizer for Retin-A Treatment

I live in South Florida, 46 years old, exercise indoors and sweat a lot, and my skin is prone to break outs and sun spots, After using other products from other brands also as good as this one, I gave it a try and as of now I like it. I use it before my primer and then I apply my foundation, I love the tinted because usually professional or cosmetic UV protectors are white finish, which I dont mind before I work out. If you are looking for a sunscreen to apply before your foundation this one will work great, not only because its very silky smooth, but it will definitely protect your skin.

Multipurpose Protection for Every Day Use
My dermatologist recommended that I use the highest possible sunscreen protection every day. EltaMD clear broad spectrum is a bit more drying than other EltaMD products because it is meant for acne prone skin. I use it in the summer to cut back on the shine an keep my skin protected from the rays. My skin looks amazing since I have been using EltaMD and my dermatologist is very happy that I use additional protection over my prescription lotions.

wonderful SPF
I learned about this product from In Style magazine. I have sensitive skin (prone to redness and little white heads around my nose). This product doesnt irritate my skin, it doesnt burn my eyes if Im sweating, and it doesnt have an off putting odor like a lot of sunscreens. It also blends in very well. My only advice is to wipe your eyebrows with a wet cloth after you apply it because it can cause them to get a bit hard and stiff.

Perfect for Everyday Use
Having had skin cancer twice before turning 40, I realized it was time to take better care of myself. Thankfully Dr Schlessinger and his staff recommended ELTA MD sunscreen. I use it every day without skipping a beat. You can use under your foundation or without. I have the tinted so I actually use it as my foundation. Its wonderful!!
