Great sunscreen for the face
It works as a sunscreen. It does pull up when when I try to apply makeup over it, but I find almost all sunscreens do. It goes on fairly cleanly ( only a little white) and absorbs well. I have been using this for a few years and I don't plan to change unless the newly FDA approved sunscreen comes out for face and then hopefully Elta MD will add it to their line.

Great mineral sunscreen for face
This is the best mineral sunscreen I have tried so far for my face…I do not like mineral sunscreens generally but am trying to use as recommended by the “experts”…. This one goes in very well, does not feel heavy on face… no white caste.. so all good..

Best ever mineral sunscreen for my 70s y.o. blemish-prone skin!
I have tried many mineral sunscreens in the last few years. This EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 Facial Sunscreen Clear has been the best so far!! I have used this for over a decade, I guess? The extra antioxidants of Niiacinamide and others help calm the skin, the skin takes on a shine & is pretty on its own, without makeup.

Elta MD Sunscreen has saved my face!
I am 68 years old, live in a sunny, coastal climate, and walk about 3 miles a day for exercise. I apply the Elta sunscreen every morning before my walk, have been doing this for years, and have Elta to thank for protecting my skin from harmful rays and the wrinkle ravages that sun causes. Great Sunscreen
I always wear sunscreen, whether I'm inside or outside. I tend to switch between the Elta MD 46 and the Elta MD 50. I like an untinted sunscreen & it's very important to apply daily early in the morning. I'm still missing the Obagi Sport Sunscreen that had a white tint, that tint seemed to enhance what little makeup I wear, crazy....I know! But the Elta MD sunscreen works great. When the Elta MD first came out it used to cause my skin to breakout so they've changed something in the formula. I'm so glad I tried it again!

A Summer must have!
The ingredients work for me with rosacea. At the age of 77, I have used this product for years as it was recommended to me by a dermatologist. It helps to calm my skin and keeps it well hydrated all day. Plus, during the summer there is no need to other makeup because it is tinted. Nice.

Well, I thought I loved my previous sunscreen that I have dutifully been purchasing forever until they changed the formula. I live in SoCal so a good sunscreen is an absolute must.
