Excellent daily SPF
I've used the Elta MD UV Clear for years as my daily SPF. It's a wonderful profuct alone or under makeup and perfect if you're acne prone...a little pricey though.

Mostly all good!
I love the ease of using this product. I squeeze some out and apply on my face with my fingertips. Easy to spread, doesn't look fakey or messy. Cost is reasonable.. The ingredients are non harmful and I like that it has niacinamide in it. The only negative is there is only one shade, so if it's too light or dark, there's no other choice. Will definitely buy again due to protection and ease.

Light and Lovely Sunscreen
I really like this sunscreen. It’s super light and blends extremely well into my skin. It also doesn’t feel like you have anything on after applying, so it should be good for make-up wearers too. I gave 4 stars because the product exploded in the box on the first shipment. Customer service was very good at replacing it, though. Great stuff!

EltaMD Sunscreen Is Best
Having tried many sunscreens in my time (and wishing I had started using sunscreen sooner than I did) I have to say that this sunscreen, tinted and untinted is truly the best. It goes on smooth, not greasy and absorbs into your skin right away but doesn't feel dry. I do not feel the need for a moisturizer after I apply this in the morning so my makeup glides on just fine when applied immediately after my EltaMd sunscreen. I now buy for it for my 20+ yr. old grandchildren so they can start on this great habit of using sunscreen. I took one star away only because I do not believe EltaMD is cruelty free :(

Good daily sunscreen
A good daily sunscreen. I wear it over my moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and it not greasy. I do feel like it needs to be reapplied after a few hours and doesn’t last all day.

Great for acne prone skin
This is my "go-to" sunscreen. My skin is oily and I break out if sunscreen is too heavy or contains a tint. This sunscreen is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It can be used alone or under makeup. I would have given it 5 stars, but it is not water resistant.

This product was recommended by my dermatologist. It's been great so far! What I like the most is that it blends into my skin nicely without leaving white cast. As a woman of color with a darker complexion, I was worried the tinted version would not blend, but luckily it does. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product. Just wish it was a sunscreen and moisturizer all in one.

Gentle sunscreen
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen is a great all around sunscreen that is gentle on the skin and does not irritate around the eye area like many sunscreens do. This product goes on smoothly and provides moisturizing sunscreen that lasts all day and does not flake or go on white. EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen comes in a tinted version as well, but I prefer the untinted version as it does not stain my shirt collars. The only draw back to this product is that it gets a little shiny towards the end of the day, but it washes off easily and your skin is left very soft so that is a minor flaw.

I recently purchased this product after seeing for years how popular it is among dermatologists and skincare enthusiasts. The consistency of this product is different that others I have used and currently use as it is more moisturizing. However, it made my other products pill, which is always annoying. This could be because I didn't let them settle in and dry, so the verdict is still out. But I cannot say that I thoroughly dislike it. One of my favorite things is that it is formulated for normal to oily skin, which is a huge plus!

There are a ton of reasons to love this sunscreen and I do! No white cast, high spf, fungal acne safe, great for acne prone skin. My only complaint is that it's not the best under makeup, it get's very pill-y. So while I do really like this Elta product, I really only wear it on days I don't plan on wearing makeup.

I’m so happy I tried this sunscreen. I have sensitive, acne prone skin and every other sunscreen I’ve used has caused breakouts. Elta MD doesn’t leave my skin shiny or greasy feeling. It does seem to leave a slight white cast, but nothing drastic. I’ll be buying more.
