Great consistency, not so great for acne
I bought this at my dermatologist's office at first and have been using it for 3+ months now. Great consistency, goes well under makeup and I don't even need a moisturizer over it most of the time. However, not so great for the acne. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and I've been breaking out ever since I started using this. Not deep, hormonal acne, but surface pimples. I would come home every day with at least 3-4 new pimples and I thought I was losing my mind. I finally stopped using it and, viola - immediately stopped breaking out. So sad, especially considering it's supposedly made for those of us with acne.

Streaky!!
I was so excited about this product. It goes on nicely and makes my skin feel very smooth, but I cant use it! It leaves tinted streaks all across my face. I dont know if I got a bad batch or what but Im very disappointed :( but the color and texture are very nice. I think Ill try the UV Clear untinted instead.

Tint color doesnt apply evenly
Have tried samples of this and always liked it, however the bottle I just ordered goes on very patchy with the tinted color. Its not overly noticeable inside with poor lighting- I noticed it when I was outside in the sun- my skin was splotchy with the color. Very disappointed. Otherwise I really like the product. Just dont buy the tinted version.

Beware the most sensitive
I had ordered this to wear in Hawaii. My face promptly went nuts. I so badly wanted it to work and be my one and only sunscreen love. Oh well, worked great on my neck and other body parts!

Didnt work on my face
Id tried another eltamd spf before (with Hyaluronic acid) and had liked it very much. This one is great in terms of application and consistency (no stickiness, white cast, shine, etc), but after a few seconds my face turned red. I continued using it on my neck and chest, but it reacted badly on my face everytime. Dont know why, because it contains the same ingredients of another sunscreen Id bought and that one was fine. Probably just my body chemistry. Love the eltamd sunscreens though and would continue buying the others!

Wanted to love it..too bad
Elta MD is okay. Wanted to use this as my every day moisturizer Leaves my skin VERY oil. I have to be very careful with the amount of this product I out on my face. Too much leaves a white film on my face makes me look like I just took off clown makeup. Too Little, makes my skin look dry and peeling. Love the amount of SPF, but I will probably only use this when I’m doing outdoor activities, going to the beach/pool or island vacation.

Better than most...
Frankly, I find all sunscreen products (that supposedly work) rather uncomfortable to wear... I'm convinced if they have those zinc coating ingredients then it will feel like baby diaper Desitin on your face. Remember that stuff! ;-)

It's ok
I felt a little dissapointed by this. I am sensitive to most sunscreen on my face and I thought this would be different because of the claims. Unfortunately, I can only wear it on my neck and arms because I did breakout on my face after using it. Good news is my husband likes it just fine!
