Best Facial Sunscreen
I have always been prone to breakouts and so have to be careful about the products I use on my face. The EltaMD UV Clear--both this untinted formulation and the tinted one--have been the only sunscreens I will use on my face. They never cause or aggravate my breakouts. The formulation is silky and applies easily. It also does not have that heavy, cloying sunscreen smell that seems to afflict most every other sunscreen out there. Simply the best.

I LOVE this sunscreen!! Yes, it is on the pricey side but it helped my acne prone skin and I love that it is chock-full of skin nourishing goodies in addition to being broad spectrum. It goes on so light and sheer; I wear it every day and nothing else! It does give me a dewy/shiny look initially but that goes away in about 15-20 minutes. I even turned my husband on to it!

Great sunscreen, no irritation, no white cast, great under make up. I apply it at the morning and only put spf powder on top during the day, works perfectly for the city and small errands during the day. If on a hike I reapply often and wear hats, not very greasy even after lairing 2-3 times.

This is a staple in my skincare routine! I went through I don’t know how many sunscreens trying to find an everyday one that worked for me and waited to try this one because it’s a little on the pricy side but it is worth it!! I am fair skinned and it does not leave a white cast but it does get stuck a bit in my eyebrows but once your work it in a bit more it’s fine! It does take a little while to rub in as well and applies best to freshly moisturized skin I have found.

I Love This Sunscreen, but have Some Chemical Concerns
This tinted sunscreen blends beautifully on my face--the tint is perfect. In addition to a sports sunscreen, I also use it as my foundation. It does not gather in creases. Have used this product for years. I do have some concerns about some of the chemical ingredients. I like this product better than the new "Glow" product.

Help with science and growing safety concerns
