Great for sensitive skin
I like EltaMD sun screen but love the EltaMD UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+. I have sensitive skin and sun screen often causes small bumps on my face so I have been using the Clear formulation of EltaMD but find it a bit drying. I get no bumps with the Sheer formulation and it keeps my skin from feeling dried out.

Not my favorite!
For years I used EltaMD Clear, but as I've aged I switched to EltaMD Daily sunscreen and find it works much better for me. I'm always on the search for something even better than Daily so I tried this new product from EltaMD. It's just ok as far as I'm concerned. To be honest, it stings a bit when applying and that's a problem I never have with Daily. At this point, I'm going to stick with Daily.

Not good under makeup
There is a light cast on my medium to dark skin. Dewy finish. I do not like it under my liquid foundation. I will not be purchasing this again. It has a very silky texture and spreads easily.

Lightweight sunscreen

Better than Others
I got a sample of this and was so impressed I had to purchase a full-size. I was surprised at how small a full-size was since this is for the body and face, but I like that it didn't leave a super thick and white cast on the skin. It seems a bit less greasy than other sunscreens, too. I use it for when I want extra strong sun protection, even if I'm not going in the water. I recently developed some nasty skin conditions that required extra sun protection, and I found this sunscreen to be helpful.

Does not leave a white cast!
This is a nice product! It goes on easily and becomes sheer. Does not leave a white cast on my tan skin. It is smooth and not thick. Of note this is not completely mineral/physical and does contain some chemical sunscreen.

Goes on easily, smooth, and clear. None of that sticky, pasty, difficult application common with other high spf sunscreens. No white look at all. No irritation so far and my skin is sensitive normally. That's especially impressive with the addition of beneficial vitamin C. Also hyaluronic acid gives a better appearance. I was impressed with how easy this is to apply, and that it doesn't leave the negative appearance many sunscreens do.
