Dry and stinky
This "balm" is very dry going on and does not moisturize your lips at all. And, it smells like lemon furniture polish. The sheer color along with SPF is nice for weekend-outdoor wear, but the dryness and smell make it a no-go for me. I will try something else.

Not very moisturizing
While I loved the color and liked the consistency when I initially put this on, I found it quickly dried out my lips and the color settled into the creases. I can't say for sure if it was because of this lip balm, but I did notice my lips were more chapped at the end of the day after using this. Disappointed because the color really is lovely.

Hint of Color To Counteract the Corpse
This lip balm is really nice. The color Flirt is very close to my lip's natural shade. And thank goodness for that because all of the pigment is sucked from your lips with the protection. It hasn't been too drying yet, but I like to layer this over Vanicream lip SPF extra moisture and coverage. I'm ready to try more colors very soon! I also like the balm as a cheek color in a pinch.

I enjoy the color and spf protection of this product. There is glittery substance in the balm but this doesn’t look glittery on the lip. The color pout is light and pinkish, and gives my lips a pale glow that I like. It stays well, but leaves some residue around the mouth if too much is applied. Use sparingly for protection and color!

I prefer other Jane Iredale lip balms over this product. I liked the idea of SPF in my lip product, however I don't feel this was as moisturizing as I would have expected. I also like the shade but it didn't hold the color for long. I would say it's pretty okay, but it was not a drink for the lips as its name suggested.

This is a nice lip balm with SPF. I purchased the shade “Giddy” and it’s pretty. And not too dark or bright. This stays on about the same as some other lip balms I've tried. It’s nice but pretty ordinary. About the same as similar products in the same price range.
