I originally purchased the shade "pout" which is described as shimmery. However, it has a grainy feel to it and is actually glittery - the kind of glitter that gets everywhere. It flakes off onto the skin around my lips. The shade looked pale and silvery on me (I have a light skin tone). I did not like that one at all. Weird texture, weird appearance
I’ve been looking for a good, tinted spf lip balm for a while. Bought this based on the largely positive reviews. Unfortunately, I must agree with those who didn’t like it. This lip balm is neither sheer nor opaque - it has a somewhat gritty texture during application, feels chalky shortly after, and the color settles into the lines of your lips within 10 min. Additional layers/applications just makes it look worse. I’ll probably go back to drugstore lip balm over light layer of well blotted lipstick. Not as convenient, but looks a 100 times better.
