I am in my 40’s and not very happy with how my skin looks because I became lazy with my Obagi! So for my recent birthday $$ with Lovely Skin, I jumped on this 1.0 Retinol to start removing some of the damage to my skin. This particular formula is more gentle to older skin and after 2 weeks of daily use on my problem areas, I am starting to peel. There is no redness or irritation, just slightly noticeable peeling that is easy hide to others. I cannot wait for another 2 weeks and another! Period Obagi Products Work!

Tops in retinol
I think this retinol cream is the best around. It doesn't ever sting like some retinols and its very effective. I use it about twice a week at night, always use sun block everyday and regularly see my aesthetician. Depending on how your skin responds to it you might be able to use it more frequently but for me twice a week gives me the results I'm looking for.

Obagi retinol is a great product. It works to smooth fine lines and wrinkles without any irritation. I have used other retinol products that have dried out and irritated my face, but I haven't had those issues with Obagi Retinol.

Obstinate for life!
I’ve been using this product for many years. It is a process when you begin using it. Initially, it dries your face but after a few week, you have a glow! My advice is to never stop using it because when you begin again, you have to start the process all over again. SO BUY TWO! Truly it is a medical grade product, once you see the results... nothing else will do! Can’t get stuff like this in cvs!

Everyone needs this secret weapon in their arsenal. I use this once a week with an oil over it, and it’s perfect for smoothing the surface. Since I use the oil, I don’t tend to peel. I use the . 25 for daily use and this is my super charged product. Great product!

Worth every penny!
This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I tend to have issues with retinol products irritating my skin and also causing my eye area to be irritated and swollen in the morning from accidentally getting near my eyes while wearing a sleep mask at night. This product goes on easily and doesn't cause any of those issues, but most importantly...my skin has never looked better! It has smoothed out any roughness, wrinkles are slowly diminishing (realistically) and my skin looks younger overall. Very pleased and worth every penny. Finally some success after wasting money on less expensive "drug store" retinol products. I'd rather spend a little more and get results. Highly recommend.

Definitely makes a difference!
I'm 57 and try a lot of different products to keep my skin healthy-looking. I tend to switch products often because I don't see results quickly enough, or at all. I've been using this cream every other night for a month or so. And I just realized that I can actually see a difference - my skin is smoother and my complexion is a lot more even. I will definitely keep using it! A word of warning: don't apply it too close to your eyes. I did this initially (trying to fight crows feet) and it really dried out my eye area. And make sure to use a good nighttime moisturizer on top of it.

After using another .5 Retinol on my face 3x a week for over a year without problems I tried this higher dose cream several nights in a row and had a terrible experience. My face was red and peeling for days. The dermatologist said it was a topical reaction. Use this with great care if your skin is sensitive.

So Far, So Good
I’ve always been sensitive to retinol so am ramping up slowly. Previously, I’ve been using the .5 strength with great results so thought it was time to ramp up. I am doing this one every other night & plan to do so for the next month or so. So far, so good. I will be 65 this year & most people think I’m in my early 50’s. Sensitive skin
I’ve been using this a little under a month, so I can’t speak to results yet but can say that I’m surprised with how sensitive my rosacea skin is, that I haven’t had a reaction. I’m extremely excited to see what this product does. For the first couple of days areas around my eyebrows and nose were peeling which is to be expected. It does not burn it does not irritate it does not smell bad.
