Long time user of another medical grade retinol, but I will continue to buy this brand. Love the pump over the other brand’s tube. I seem to use just the right amount instead of wasting it. I’ve worked up to 0.5% strength and use this product 2-3 times per week, hoping to get to 3-4 times per week. I’ve noticed my skin is more sensitive when using other products containing retinol when advancing to this strength but want more benefit as I age with the understanding that this is normal. So far so good.

very potent and harsh
I have used prescription stuff before and even that had not caused the irritation I experienced with this product. I am surprised at the level of redness, peeling and raised spots I got none of which do not want to calm down for some reason- even though I stopped and have been moisturizing intensely. I am lucky if my skin tolerates this once a week.
