Have been using this product for several years. The product goes on smoothly, is a light texture. During the winter I cut back on using as your skin will flake. During the summer I use daily at night. Am happy using this, would recommend it.

I love SkinMedica; however, this product did not respond well to my skin. I have always used a tretinoin (which is strong), but my face was very sensitive and very red, so I thought I will give this a try. Looking back, I should have probably started off with the .5 rather than the 1.0. Ultimately, I switched up my skincare routine with other products.

I believe most mature women can benefit from regular Retinol use. I like this product because it feels gentle, yet I can see its effects on my fine lines and wrinkles. It takes a little getting used to, so I recommend a few times per week until a tolerance is developed.

No difference between the .5 and 1
I have used the .5 before and I liked it. Than I ordered this one and I expected visible results. I did not see any extra improvement in my skin tone. If anything, this almost feels weeker than the .5. I am not sure I will repurchase this one again but I do really like the milder formula.

I went from the .5 to this 1.0 strength Retinol by SkinMedica and the results were huge! I made a mistake and applied this after using a new toner and I got burn on my neck. That’s kind of embarrassing for now, but hopefully I’ll heal soon. This does cause a great deal of peeling
